Grab a trolley ladies, the Autumn/Winter 2012 collection has just landed at George at Asda.
If like me, you want to keep up with the latest fashion trends but continually find yourself promising to curb your spending, check out George at Asda. I've always been a bit weary of supermarket clothing, as like any expert frugaller, I prefer quality over quantity. However, I popped into Asda recently and I've got to say, I was seriously impressed.
The clothing was just as on-trend as my high street favourites and on closer inspection the quality was also good. Wool-mix knits felt cosey and the polyester blouses were suprisingly soft and scratch-free.
Here's what I picked up...
A fab transitional piece. It'll keep me cool during the last few days of Summer but once it gets chillier I plan to wear it with black opaque tights or leggings. The animal print is not too in your face, either.
The trend for coloured skinnies is still going strong and these indigo blue jeans will go with everything from casual breton tops to cheer chiffon blouses. It's the perfect shade to brighten up my look without looking too over the top.
Speaking of chiffon blouses, this little beauty is polyester but it feels lovely. What I like most about it is how it combines classic style with a bright colour - citrus shades are hot for Autumn and go suprisingly well with basic colours like brown and navy. Plus, it has a chic little crossover back - take a look.
This dress is the perfect office-to-bar outfit. The black base shade is formal but the cute peter-pan colour and graphic-come-floral print brings it to life.
These four items came to just £50 and will keep my wardrobe looking stylish for the season ahead.
